"The character in the first hour of Benjamin Button was created in post, basically, with Brad inspiring it," says director Spike Jonze in an interview with AICN's Drew McWeeny. "[David] Fincher totally invented his own technique, and it's insane. I'm always a little skeptical whenever you hear there's a CG character [in a film], but I never even noticed it. It's just this totally compelling, really charming character, you know, because he's like a little boy inside an old man's body, and the performance is amazing."

Just finished reading this beast of an interview.

Where the Wild Things Are is going to be a masterpiece. You can just feel it. At least I can.

What a phenomenally in depth interview. Jonze sounds like such a cool cat.

Getting more and more amped for Button; really hope this is Fincher's year after the snubbing of 2007.

Moriarty: BENJAMIN BUTTON is very much like WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE in that they’re adaptations that were never approached in the typical Hollywood way, from the beginning of the process of adapting them. You’ve gone at it in a way that is really unlike any other production like this I’ve ever heard of.

Spike Jonze: What the fuck did you just say?

Actually, Spike said, "Yup," but he should have said WTF.

This interview needs an editor.

Yeah, I'll definitely see BB. Not only because of Fincher, but mainly because of Fitzgerald. I've been obsessed with this story since I read it in high school.

In regards to Brad Pitt, his choices regarding directors and writing has to be applauded. Can't wait to see Tree of Life!
