Add-On

I forgot to ask if anyone has PDFs of these scripts also — untitled James L. Brooks, The Rum Diary and The Matarese Circle. I promise to return the favor. Update: I’ve so far received Up In The Air, The Human Factor (i.e.,Eastwood/Mandela), Imperial Life in the Green Zone, The Men Who Stare At Goats, Fair Game, Brothers, Amelia, a faded 2007 draft of Shutter Island, The Informant, The Lovely Bones and A Serious Man.

  • George Prager

Is anything in the English language more terrifying than the phrase “untitled James L. Brooks”?

  • dogcatcher

    Hey Jeff,

I sent you three of the scripts you had asked for. Check your email.

  • actionman

yes, Prager. That’d be: “untitled Brett Ratner project”

  • George Prager

    Of course.

  • PCP_Patriots

Ratner’s direction of Red Dragon, however, was pretty sweet though …

  • actionman

    if you say so

i thought red dragon was just as bland as everything else that ratner has “directed”

  • hcat

    Untitled Nancy Meyer project

  • Floyd Thursby

    Brett Ratner’s Romeo and Juliet

  • George Prager

It was bland. MANHUNTER was a million times better.

  • PCP_Patriots

    Fiennes was great though

  • PCP_Patriots

What a cast Red Dragon had.

  • George Prager

    “Lethal Weapon 5″

  • PCP_Patriots

Lethal Weapon 5 was a complete classic. :-)

  • BurmaShave

PCP_Patriots is the wingnut version of “Jerry” from SPHERE.

  • George Prager

    You mean Sixpack from LEVIATHAN.

  • BurmaShave

PCP_Patriots Author Profile Page says …

LEVIATHAN is a classic. The best movie Peter Weller ever made. I always thought ROBOCOP was too silly and violent ;)

  • George Prager

Who could forget Weller’s powerhouse performance in LEVIATHAN? Or SCREAMERS? Shades of Gary Cooper!

  • PCP_Patriots

Peter Weller? He did more movies than Robocop? I must have been Rip Van Winkle longer than I thought.

  • Gordon27

In one breath, you’ve dismissed ‘Buckaroo Banzai’ and ‘Naked Lunch’? Weird.

  • George Prager

OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN! FIRST BORN! The guy is a fuckin’ legend!

  • http://www.filmjerk.com EdHavens

And you people call yourselves Peter Weller fans. Not one of you mentioned The New Age, a performance which was as beautiful as it was painful to watch.

  • 115thDreamer

Jeff, please read “A Serious Man” first and let us know what the deal is – haven’t heard much. Then, tell me if “Shutter Island” does anything for you. The book is pretty good, but once I finished it, I was surprised that it became a Scorcese picture. It’s a pretty basic murder mystery type of story with a M. Night-type “twist” at the end that made me groan a little bit. Maybe the script totally transforms it, but I’m wary….can’t argue with the cast, though.

  • BrewsterMcGriff

I have Taking Woodstock and Untitled Nancy Meyers (ugh) ready to send to you, but I can’t seem to find your e-mail address.

  • Imogen

Anyone else have fun rickrolling Jeff?

  • Princess of Peace

I believe that Biutiful the script and film is entirely in Spanish. So unless you are fluent in Spanish you will not be able to read this script.

How do people manage to get these screenplays? I always wondered about that.

  • Imogen

Oh, Jeff deleted me: so here we go again: only the worst of the worsdt gives a tars ass for your opinion. Fuck off and die,

  • Imogen

Honestly: who wants or needs some old fart’s take on their material? What kind of loser would even pass it to granpa Wells? H’es so out of touch he thinks Pluto is still the next planet. How to prove you’re not coo: have Jeff Wewlls read your scriot.
