Fluff It Up
In the view of The Wrap’s Sharon Waxman and Dylan Stableford, the Hollywood Reporter‘s hiring of former Us editor-in-chief Janice Min as editorial director, along with the recent hiring of former OK! honcho Lori Burgess as THR‘s publisher, “seems to suggest a tilt toward celebrity news for the traditionally business-oriented trade.” Whoa, guys…don’t go out on a limb.
please no. We already have too many trashy, annoying, pretentious celebrity news in the mainstream media. I’ve f–king had enough.
hiring Janice Min is the worst mistake they’ve made.
I worked for Jasnie Min at Us. Two-faced doesn’t even begin to describe her.
OOps, of course I meant Janice – Two-Faced – Min.

Played favorites. Was always nicey-nice to your face, then would turn around and stab you in the back. When you fell out of favor, would refuse to speak to you.
Ran the office like a sorority house. Loved to giggle with staffers she liked and discuss clothes and makeup.
I was the most experienced writer on staff, by far. Never assigned a cover story.

Personally I hate any information about celebrities. Why the h..l should I be interested with the life of “celebrities”? Should not be I concerned rather with my personal life and how to solve my own problems? I think that such a nonsense as celebrity news just distract people and that is pointless.

No I believe celebrity news is important too. It makes good reading for the youngsters and although some of these news articles may not be accurate, some are and are also well presented.
