So odd. I mean – a glossy Julia Roberts movie doesn’t show for critics three weeks before its release and Jeff writes an entire post about it. Four days before The American is released, and no word. Is there an embargo on even talking about the critic’s embargo? Or are they just not showing it?

Maybe this is being asked elsewhere, but: why are we four days out from The American’s release and there hasn’t been one prominent review of the film?
Roquentin, I just asked that exact same thing on the “No-Frills French Action” post, but got no response. WTF?
