Three Zucks

I’m thinking that the last time SNL presented this kind of prince-and-the-pauper, Real McCoy-meets-doppleganger thing was when John Belushi and Joe Cocker sang side by side. I’ve looked for the clip for over 20 minutes and can’t find the clip anywhere. Anyone?

  1. Good luck with that clip, Jeffrey. Oh sure, someone might come up with their own ancient, VHS snippet of that famous Belushi / Cocker clip, but it won’t be long before an NBC ninja appears at the home of the clip provider, dispatching the poor bastard with a lightning quick knife to the throat. The clip will then be snatched at the source and destroyed.

Any or all clips from classic SNL’s that aren’t on the NBC sight are in a pile in the basement bunker of Lorne Michaels, who sits atop the pile with a shotgun and extra ammo.

  2. “Come on Jeff, you know the Sara Palin and Tina Fey is WAY more recent than that!”

…and legally blind former NY Governor David Patterson appeared in a sketch with Fred Armisen just this year. Not to mention Mark Wahlberg with Andy Samberg in late 2008…

  3. Or Will Ferrell’s Alex Trebek with the real one. Or Mike Myers’ Mick Jagger with the real one. (Or my personal favorite, host Paul Simon coming out to start the show with Senator Paul Simon.)

  4. No offense to R. Hunt, others, but do any of you read the comments before you comment? I always try to. Buncha Banias with your linkage.

  5. There have been TONS o times where the real life people came on to hang with the guys in the cast doing them. Nothing new here but it doe match the great Michael J Fox monologue where both David Spade and Dana Carvey impersonated Fox on the stage. Not sure if there has been a 4way one done. Stopped watching years ago.

  6. After searching on Twitter and finding hundreds of people remaking about it, glad to see I wasn’t the only one who noticed there was a braying hyena in the audience last night whose distracting cackle and over-emphatic laughter at all times was making the show hard to watch and throwing off whole skits. Can’t BELIEVE Lorne Michaels didn’t have her shuffled out of the auditorium. (The Twitter hypothesis is it was an over-effusive Nicky Minaj fan… the laugh was louder than the skit in that CREEP dance short.)

  7. Joe Pesci showed up on Jim Breuer’s “The Joe Pesci Show,” Janet Reno busted through the wall during Will Ferrell’s “Janet Reno’s Dance Party…” It’s actually one of SNL’s most overused gags.

  8. “Or Mike Myers’ Mick Jagger with the real one.”

I believe that was actually Jimmy Fallon. Myers used to do Ron Wood.

  9. yeah – but we need to vote – who is the best sport of the lot – I think it has to be Zuckerberg, although I will say that Palin (yikes!) is pretty close.

  10. Ponderer is thinking of Mike Myers doing Jagger while Jagger sat beside him doing Keith Richards.

As mentioned, Dana Carvey doing Dennis Miller was great, back in the day.

Zuckerberg’s a good sport – give him that.

  11. The nike air force ones would even have numerous refreshed editions which achieves almost a total of 800 million dollars annually as a revenue account. Our team here in BAK even mentioned once in our postings that Nelly even added something exciting to it by coming up with a song called the Air Force Ones as an expression of his love for the iconic product. Nelly, as a leading hip hop sensation made an amazing influence to the overall popularity standing of the Nike shoe model.
