Pepper Spray
I’ve admired and sympathized with the ongoing Occupy Wall Street demonstrations because they’ve expressed a justified fury on the part of twentysomethings about how their financial futures have been shackled and all but ruined by Wall Street’s sociopathic money-moving games. As you might expect some NY cops got rough and maced some women, and some screaming resulted.
That’s a pretty damning video. I wonder how long it will be before that old mace-spraying cop in the white-shirted uniform (is that a Major’s uniform?) get ID’ed and a shitstorm arises.
Well, all I can say is that it’s about time the young guns took to the street….what took them so long?
They are so overdramatic. I bet they thought it could never happen to them.
Yet another incredibly stupid comment by Rashad, who makes them all day. And no LexG to take the edge off. So, I’m done with this site. I can’t take it anymore. I’ll read Jeff’s stuff, but I won’t be reading the comments and I will not be commenting. I have better things to do. Enjoy.

Oh please. Compared to the shit Prager spews or even some of the things Jeff posts, this is nothing. These people know what they’re doing. They’re provocateurs who want the cops to do something so they can be viewed as oppressed. Why you think everyone has their camera out? Go on youtube and you see things like this all the time between these people and cops. There’s a reason the video doesn’t show what came before.
Christ, Wells, Prager’s a big boy and he can give it out with the best of them, so he should be able to take it as well.

There seems to be very little point to banning people at present. If you banned Rashad he would just come back under the handle AmadouDialloWasAskingForIt.

It’s definitely worth losing Rashad to keep Prager, though the former never quite reaches D.Z. levels of Asperger’s-style idiocy so I don’t know why he should get banned while “Kakihara” is still allowed to troll this site.
Also, the notion that the comments suck since Lex’s departure is bullshit. I was just thinking the other day while reading a particularly lively thread how great things still are.
And one post by MilkMan is worth 10 of Lex’s.
I wouldn’t necessarily advocate banning Rashad, though I would like to keep Prager. but I think it’s awesome that Rashad be exposed to the fact that nobody wants him here or respects him even the tiniest bit to speak up and say he’s a worthwhile commenter. I mean, he’s going to keep hanging out here, and if you ban him he’ll just use a different name, but after Jeff’s immediate response to Prager’s post was “What if I ban Rashad?”, he’s got to realize that the host doesn’t want him here. Nobody else wants him here. I don’t really understand what he gets out of coming here. It kind of makes me sad, a guy who pretends to see movies so he can bitch about them. It seems really empty. I almost feel like banning him would be putting the pills in his stomach.
