Nobody’s Fault But Mine

All day long I felt last night’s Moet & Chandon circulating through my system. Moet & Chandon is sponsoring the 2012 Santa Barbara Film Festival so the stuff is abundant. The waiters kept filling my glass at last night’s Viola Davis after-party, and I kept slurping it down like a fool. A champagne hangover is like a disease. Puffy face, a distinct sense of having been pleasurably poisoned, a lack of concentration, depleted spirit.

  1. I think I was saved from this in my life because cheap champagne was my drink of choice in high school. Every time a waiter comes around I’ll just remember killing two bottles of Andre, trying to watch Robocop, and falling asleep on the floor. No thank you.

  2. Don’t really see how you can keep draining champagne; it just doesn’t seem like the kind of drink that you can put down a lot of. Although that may be just my perception of it; JD and beer are my drinks of choice, and champagne is for New Years or important events.

  3. Ah, first world problems. Like getting indigestion from caviar.

I do feel you, though. Wine hangovers of any kind are the worst – except maybe gin.

  4. Interesting bit of trivia: Moet was a German family, so you pronounce the “t.” It’s not “mo-ay” as Freddie Mercury pronounced it in Killer Queen.

  5. I truly understand how you must have felt that day..!! Moet has givin’ me lots of headaches :D but also lots of fun and hot nights.. it has to be said:)

  7. I drop a comment when I especially enjoy a article on a site or if I have something to valuable to contribute to the conversation. Usually it’s caused by the fire displayed in the post I read. And on this article nobody’s fault but mine :: hollywood elsewhere. I was excited enough to drop a thought ;) I actually do have a couple of questions for you if it’s okay. Could it be only me or do a few of the remarks come across as if they are written by brain dead folks? :-P And, if you are writing at other places, I’d like to keep up with everything new you have to post. Could you make a list the complete urls of your public sites like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed? how to hairstyles | world of tanks cheats

  8. Because of their investment in the equipment required, most repair shops charge a fee, some-times substantial, to attach the scanning equipment and diagnose problems using the OBD2 system signals. Home mechanics and small shop technicians have been restricted from working with these signals by the cost and technical complexity of the equipment. With the introduction of more economical and user friendly scanning devices, it is now practical for almost anyone to access OBD II signals and use them for their own testing and repairs.
