I’ll say it again … you may not agree with Maher’s politics or even his attitude, but he NAILS those well-written lines every time. He’s one of the sharpest hosts on television.
Maher was GREAT last night… Kennedy (the former VJ) was insane and unfunny and crazy, kept interrupting… and when did Dana Rohrabacher go off the deep end? I remember him as being one of Bill’s more good-natured conservative regulars… Did he have some kind of health issue in the last few years? He looked and sounded ROUGH, and was belligerent and quasi-racist the whole night, got booed repeatedly, and wouldn’t let up; He wasn’t how I remembered him at all, seemed like he wasn’t all there, because I lean somewhat right and thought Rohrabacher was pretty sensible in the past, but he seemed like a fucking CRACKPOT. Between him and Kennedy, Martin Bashir got in about three words the whole night.
Also MILEY CYRUS OH MY GOD LOOK AT HER. That picture is SO HOT. MILEY RULES.
Kennedy couldn’t control herself and Rohrabacher kept to the talking points. Maher was getting frustrated, but he kept it together. That photo of Miley Cyrus was the best part.
I’m surprised Kennedy is still around, let alone being asked to be on popular shows. When does Bill Bellamy get his turn?
Apparently Kennedy has reinvented herself as some talking-head Libertarian blowhard… which is odd. Wasn’t she front and center in ’92 when MTV did the whole ROCK THE VOTE (aka VOTE FOR CLINTON) thing?
Maybe John Sencio can take a crack at this kind of thing.

Not that I think Mitt’s entirely ethical, but if people are gonna rant about being corporate whores out of touch with the average American, who reinstated Geithner after the worst crash in decades again?
