If It Feels Good…

When travelling carnivals played rural Kansas in the days of L. Frank Baum, this poor woman (had she been around) would have been a side-show attraction. Now she’s just a nice gal talking about her lifestyle. Only in 21st Century America. How would it be any different if a heroin addict were to post videos about which brand of heroin he/she prefers (Afghanistan vs. Myanmar vs. Mexico) with a little side video about how to hit up like a professional?

    We’d hopefully embrace the knowledge and exercise the compassion that such an individual was diseased, and suffering from a terrible addiction and compulsion that distorted their ability to make sound decisions, and wish for them a better life involving treatment and support.

    Or maybe we’d just call them names, a moral failure, and point & laugh at them in return for page hits.

    The thing that always shocks me is how Indians can eat all that fatty food and still be stick thin. In the meantime, Americans and Arabs eat all this heavy food and turn into blimps. Its either the heat or the Indians are a superior race.
